Patrick Stump: WE LIKED YOU BETTER FAT: CONFESSIONS OF A PARIAH →
Dude, You are not being marketed to the right audience. You do acapella now, reach out to “The Sing Off” or “The Voice”. You have music connections and a major label. Seek out Ben Folds, Sara Bareilles etc and work with the people they work with. They have an appreciation for the entricacies of your work. You need to focus on a more knowledgeable audience who knows what you’re doing is something special. Go listen to some indie stuff like The Tuneyards or that song with Goethe ft. Kimbre - Cut Me Out. You are pioneering what you’re doing and people will understand it or they won’t. People are so afraid of change even though change is one of the only absolutes in life. You have to take a chance on yourself or you’ll never be happy. It took a long time to learn that lesson. Look at Justin Timberlake. He went from boy band to pop/r&b superstar. He didn’t do that alone. He had Pharrell and Timbaland guide him and help develop “street cred,” in that more urban genre. You need to find someone who is established and 100% believes in you to truly crossover and be accepted in the wonderful person you’ve become. You are stronger than you think. I’ve been to hell and back too many times to count and each time I got a little bit stronger. Right now you need to find a mentor and to completely surround yourself with positive people who believe in you and everything that you do. The masses are practically autistic with pop music right now. What you’re doing isn’t going to crossover the way you want it to in this current pop environment. It’s time for you to take the road less traveled. You can and will find success. You have talent out the ass and you have an insane amount of work ethic. Success is a mix of luck, talent, and drive. Take care of yourself and keep pushing the envelope and if all else fails, pull a Lady Gaga and dress and act like a crazy person, (j/k of course). Hell, there are ways to get around being broke. Set up a project on Kickstarter.com. There are enough people that believe in you to make this work. BTW, kickstarter does work. My boyfriend and two other guys successfully opened a brewery in Chicago strictly through the generosity of others and they full out own it without investors or taking out a business loan. Anything is possible. There’s this really nice piece at underthegunreview.net by Jacob Tender that a friend forwarded me today. It’s about how important Fall Out Boy’s album “From Under the Cork Tree,” was to him. After reading it though, nostalgic and well-written as it was, I really found myself more depressed than…

Tell her that you want to wait to get officially engaged until you can afford a proper ring that is good enough for her. That will buy you some time

So here’s the deal: Last night I won this purple 8 GB iPod Nano (with video camera on the back) in one of those claw machine things in a movie theatre arcade. I realllly love it, but I already have an iPhone! Since I love my followers, I’m going to give it away(: Then there’s the camera; for an early Easter present, my lovely great aunt from Michigan decided to give me her new Canon Rebel xs. Unfortunately, I already have one of my own D: I would like to keep it, but there’s honestly no point of having 2 of the same cameras & she won’t know how to use it since shes 73 ashfajkasdfadsjkasdfjk.
To win these one of these items, you must do the following:
*You must be following me (I check)
*You must reblog this (no more than 5 times!)
*You can like it (it will increase your chance of winning, but you can only like it once)
There will be 2 winners- 1st place will receive the camera, 2nd place will get the iPod.
Winners will be chosen at random with this thing http://classtools.net/education-games-php/fruit_machine/ .
I will announce the winners a 3 weeks from today (April 22nd just in time for Easter)
This contest is available to all countries.
I will contact the winners via ask box (so make sure you have it turned on by next friday!)
GOOD LUCK<3

RIP Nate Dogg
Without Nate Dogg there would be no 213 (Snoop, Nate and Warren G). Without Nate Dogg, Snoop would of never met Nate’s cousin Dr. Dre. Without Dr. Dre’s success there would be no Eminem. Without Eminem there would be no 50 Cent. So show some fucking respect for one of the greatest OG gangstas. G Funk Era. Regulators! Mount up!
